Spa Etiquette
Cell phones
Turn all cell phones to silent or vibrate. We realize you may have emergency calls, but isn’t that what you are trying to get away from? All salon and spa clients like a relaxing atmosphere.
Clothing
Wear simple, loose clothing and leave the jewelry at home if you are getting spa services. Who wants to waste time putting a lot of clothes off and on? YOU are here to be pampered!
Cancellation
All services over 30 minutes long will be secured with a credit card. Our cancellation policy is 24 hours before a service is rendered or 50% of your service will be charged to your card. (Unless there is an emergency call.) Please remember your service provider is working on the clock and dead time is costly. We ask for the same respect we would give to you.
Do Not
Please do not shave or tan before a waxing or salt glow treatment. The skin will be tender and not prepared for these services.
Spa Facility
If you want to use the spa facility, please bring a swimsuit and a towel. (No skinny-dipping or chunky-dunking allowed!) Please shower before entering the pool or spa at home or in the bath facilities here at the day spa. (Aveda amenities provided.) If you are getting a $35 or greater service the spa is complimentary. If you want to use the facility only, there will be a $10 per visit charge (WHAT A DEAL!)
Arrival Time
Please be on time for your service. Getting behind on multiple services really puts everyone in a tailspin. If you are late for your appointment, the time will be deducted from your appointment time. Please arrive 15 minutes before your service if you have never filled out forms for spa services and 5 or so minutes before other services. We really try to stay on time but sometimes it’s impossible. Please let us know if you have a deadline to meet. We all want to be happy!
Complaints
If you should have a complaint with your service provider, please go to the front desk and ask for management. We can take care of things in an orderly fashion if we are aware of a problem. We try hard to make your experience a very pleasant one. You have the right to express your opinions. Please do so in a respectful manner.
Hair Color Services
Hair color services are hard to time. Please tell us if you want multiple color service. The best scenario is to visit your designer ahead of your scheduled hair color service. A 10-15 minute complimentary appointment can help your service go smoother. Please tell the receptionist you need to schedule a consultation appointment. Also, please remember it takes longer and is more costly to do long hair. Please keep in mind when making your appointment to tell the receptionist if your hair is short, mid-length (to chin) or longer (shoulder to back). Really long hair can take much longer.
